Mark Weinberger to become Ernst & Young Global Chairman and CEO

In July 2013, Mark Weinberger will become the global chairman and chief executive officer of Ernst & Young, a leading professional services provider with operations in 150 countries across the world. The former global head of EY’s tax operations, Mark also sits on the EY’s Global Executive and Global Advisory Council, the highest governance and management bodies at the firm. Earlier in his career with EY, Mark Weinberger served as the Americas head of tax and sat on the Americas Executive and United States Operating Committee.

Aside from his work with EY, Mark Weinberger sits on the board of directors of the American Council for Capital Formation, the Bullis School, and the Tax Council. In 2012, the Anti-Defamation League presented him with its prestigious Achievement Award.

Mark Weinberger holds a JD/MBA from Case Western University and an LLM from the Georgetown University Law Center. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, playing tennis, and spending time with his family.
